Quint 53 is equipped with a Waterous 1500gpm pump, 600 gallon water tank, 50 gallon Class A Foam tank, and is equipped with a compressed air foam system (CAFs). The Philadelphia Fire Department has placed a new GMC/Horton Medic unit in service at the Philadelphia International Airport, this unit is stationed with Engine 78. The new Medic 30 is a 2010 GMC 5500 All Wheel Drive chassis with a Horton box mounted on it, it features a FLIR night vision system.
