CMD O/S of a 1 1/2 story split level, Single Family dwelling with smoke showing placed all hands in-service. Interior reported a fire in the kitchen with some extension. 2 1 3/4 hand lines placed in service, with the truck company opening up. The fire was placed under control within 20 minutes. Camden County Fire Marshal Office on scene for the investigation. No injuries reported.

Assistant Chief 8 (Beaudet) was first on scene reported working attic fire in a one story single family dwelling. Companies found contractors on roof and home unoccupied. Deputy 8 (Schadegg) established 8 command and ordered first in engine (11) to attack with 1 3/4 through the attic as well as hook up to the hydrant right across the street. Second in Engine(11-1) laddered the house and crew cut for ventilation. Engine 8 arrived to assist crews and pull a second line off of Engine 11 to first floor and cover for overhaul. All other companies involved assisted as well. Fire placed under control within 10 minutes. Units remained on scene for overhaul. Apparatus responding: Engine 8-1, Utility 8, Engine 11, Special Service 11, Bucks Ladder 1, Bucks Rescue 2, Ambulance 355.

All hands were placed in service. Command struck the second alarm for heavy fire second floor front with extension to the third. Companies in service with hand lines. Three residents were removed from the building. Command removed all companies from the building and went in service with master stream devices.
