Command reported fire showing from the second floor of a two story single family dwelling. Companies placed 1 line in service while truck companies opened up. Minor extension into the attic. Fire was placed under control at the 40min work.

Command on location reporting heavy fire in a two and a half story single family dwelling. Crews made a quick knock. No injuries were reported.

Units arrived on scene with heavy smoke and fire showing from a two story M/O/R, placed all hands in service. One victim was removed from the dwelling and flown via Medevac to the a trauma center. Command reported fire had extended to the exposure dwelling. Evacuation orders sounded and deck guns were placed in service. Second alarm struck.

B/C-11 had fire in a three story dwelling with reports of people trapped. Placed 2&2 in service. One female child was rescued and transport to the hospital with severe burns.

At 0745 hrs Camden City units were dispatched for a dwelling fire. One caller was reporting smoke showing from a vacant row home. EMS on location reported heavy smoke showing. Battalion 1 (Decaro) and Squad 7 arrived and encountered heavy fire conditions on the second floor. All four homes in the row were affected--all are vacant dwellings. Crews stretched a total of 4 handlines after Battalion 1 requested an additional engine. Due to company closings in the city, mutual aid ladders had to be dispatched from Gloucester City and Westmont. 1 firefighter suffered a minor injury.

Command 750 reported an occupied 2 story twin with heavy smoke showing,placed all hands in service, 1 occupant was removed from the dwelling and transported, the victim was pronounced DOA at Underwood Hospital, the Camden County Fire Marshal is investigating.

Battalion 25 arrived with heavy fire in the attic of a split level single family dwelling. Command 2500 was established and used all hands. The fire was contained to the attic and put under control in under a half hour. The County FM is investigating and there were no reported injuries.

B/C-10 reported fire on the first floor of a two story M/O/R, placed 2&2 in service. One victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The victim died later in the day at the hospital.

UD-9B arrived on scene with fire showing from the rear of a two story M/O/R. Engine 20-1 went in service with hand lines to knock the fire. Several victims were treated for smoke inhalation.
