Pipeline-52 arrived on scene with heavy fire showing from the first and second floor of a two story store front with apartments above. Placed 2&2 in service, reported people trapped. Firefighters removed one victim from the building. Two other victims were found DOA inside the apartment. Companies had a tough time gain access to the victims. The one victim removed from the dwelling was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The victim later died at the hospital.

Squad-18 arrived on scene with heavy fire showing from the rear of a two story S/F/D. Crews placed a 2-1/2" line in service. Command ordered the dwelling evacuated and crews went in service with exterior lines. Used all hands. Command requested PECO to the scene for a gas fire in the ground before the meter. One civilian was transported to the hospital with burns.
